Working with organisations: fees & structure

The Reservoir works with organisations under real load: strategic pressure, ethical tension, rapid growth, fragmentation, or loss of coherence.

 

We are not a consultancy, and we do not offer off-the-shelf frameworks or solutions.

 

Our work is concerned with:

  • structure

  • capacity

  • pacing

  • and the relationship between meaning and action inside complex systems

 

We help organisations regain proportion, orientation, and coherence when speed, pressure, or fragmentation are eroding them.

 

All organisational work is held by both founders together. You are not hiring a single facilitator or advisor; you are commissioning a two-person sense-making and holding instrument.

Our organisational engagement forms

We work through commissioned containers, not day rates or generic programmes.

Diagnostic & Re-orientation

For leadership teams or organisations that are:

  • stuck in reactive cycles

  • moving faster than their capacity allows

  • experiencing loss of coherence or direction

  • or facing complex, unclear challenges

 

This engagement focuses on:

  • listening into the system

  • surfacing structural patterns

  • clarifying where strain, distortion, or overload is occurring

  • re-establishing a shared orientation for decision-making

 

Typically includes:

  • A short period of sensing and interviews

  • One or two senior sessions with both founders

  • A shared structural reading and re-orientation map

 

Timeframe:

  • Usually 4–6 weeks

 

Fees:

  • £6,000–£10,000 depending on organisational size and scope

Structural Holding

For organisations in:

  • transition

  • growth beyond capacity

  • restructuring

  • or sustained strategic or ethical tension

 

In this form, we work with a senior group over a period of months to:

  • help the organisation keep its shape under load

  • regulate pace and demand

  • support better structural decisions

  • reduce chronic reactivity at the top of the system

This is not project management or change management.

It is ongoing structural and ethical holding during periods of real pressure.

 

Timeframe:

  • Typically 3–6 months

 

Fees:

  • £12,000–£25,000 depending on duration, intensity, and organisational scale

Threshold Interventions

For high-stakes moments such as:

  • founder or leadership transitions

  • mergers or major restructures

  • crises or existential pivots

  • deep cultural or strategic fractures

 

These are short, intensive, senior-level engagements, usually involving:

  • A concentrated working period

  • Followed by integration and follow-up sessions

 

Fees:

  • Typically £8,000–£20,000+ depending on scope and urgency

Practical boundaries

  • We work with a small number of organisations each year.

  • All engagements are held by both founders together.

  • Work is scoped and priced as a container, not by the day.

  • Fees reflect the seniority, depth, and intensity of attention involved.
